Baymont by Wyndham Sioux Falls Near West 41st Street

I was driving through to Mount Rushmore and stopped here for the night. There were a lot of positives! The fridge and TV worked. The water was hot. The bed was comfortable. The room had a good temperature. The hotel was easy to find, right of I-29 exit 77. The breakfast was great: sausage, potatoes (yum!), toast, waffles, danishes, yogurt, cereal, pears, oranges, apples, even cranberry juice! The only negatives for me were that I couldn't connect my tablet to the wifi and there was noise (road noise, hallway noise). When I asked for help connecting to the wifi, I was told it worked best with cell phones and didn't really work with laptops or tablets. While I had a good stay at this hotel, I would probably choose a different hotel to hopefully be able to connect to the wifi.

I had problems with the TV in the first room and they expeditiously gave me another room and helped me move my items. The staff are always friendly and the manager, Dave, works with my schedule to help me with difficult situations. There are restaurants, gas stations, a mall, wal mart and the interstate near by. The rates are reasonable. The breakfast is always good and hot. Eggs, potatoes, meat, waffles, cereal, yogurt and pastries and fruit. Could use some updates but meets my needs.. 😀

The beds was very comfortable and the staff was great. Front desk helped me navigate the city map which was a great help. 👍

Clean room with comfortable beds. The TV not huge but fit the room decently. Breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, bagels, yogurt and coffee. We had everything we needed for a short overnight stay. Good value.

Only issue I had was the hot food could have been cooked longer. It was still raw, the dough was raw and the sausage. It was raw and the eggs were a little runny.But other than that, it was a great stay. Kids loved the pool. I love the fact that they have apple juice, 24/7

I found the hotel clean and comfortable. The check-in person was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was nothing extravagant, but good. Scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, juice, cereals, toast, muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit and coffee. All were kept well replenished. The pool and hot tub looked clean and well kept. Really my only complaint was housekeeping. I was there for 4 days, but housekeeping never came in to change out the towels, or replenish shampoo and soap. I had to go to the front desk on the 3rd day to request service. Other than that it was a good stay. I would return.
